Er ist absolut zuverlässig und brav, auf dem Turnier benimmt er sich wie zuhause und auch alleine mit ihm zum Turnier zu fahren ist problemlos möglich. Er ist in jeder Situation händelbar und ruhig und daher auch für schwächere Reiter, Anfänger oder ängstlichere Reiter geeignet. Meilo ist sowohl beim Reiten als auch im Umgang sehr unkompliziert, gelassen und nicht überempfindlich. Auch Ausreiten ist entspannt und sicher möglich. Er vermittelt dem Reiter unheimlich viel Sicherheit durch sein gelassenes, ausgeglichenes Wesen und macht viel Freude in der täglichen Arbeit. Er ist einfach und nicht stark in der Anlehnung, hat ein wunderbares Temperament und eine sehr gut regulierbare Gehfreude. Insgesamt einfach und unkompliziert zu reiten und daher auch als Lehrmeister gut geeignet. Er verträgt sich sehr gut mit anderen Pferden, geht täglich raus und war bisher nie ernsthaft krank. Hij geeft de ruiter ongelooflijk veel vertrouwen dankzij zijn kalme, gelijkmatige karakter en is een plezier om dagelijks mee te werken. Hij is makkelijk en niet sterk in het contact, heeft een geweldig temperament en een zeer makkelijk te reguleren bereidheid om te gaan. Over het algemeen is hij makkelijk en ongecompliceerd te rijden en daarom ook zeer geschikt als trainer. Hij gaat heel goed om met andere paarden, gaat elke dag naar buiten en is nooit ernstig ziek geweest. Recente röntgenfoto's zonder bevindingen zijn beschikbaar.
