Spartan is a STOUT built Gypsy Cross Horse gelding that is standing around 16hh and weighing 1300lbs. He has all the good looks, the feathering and (the best part) the mindset that anyone could ask for! He is one cool looking guy to say the least! Not only does he look cool, but he also has all of the other boxes checked as well… he friendly, loves attention and is very calm natured. Spartan has been in a natural horsemanship program since early last year and has completed the training. He knows some tricks as he will bow and lay down on command. Spartan has been ridden by all ages of riders and is very quiet and gentle. He has been ridden and driven down the highways and he is traffic safe. Spartan is great on trails, and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough, rocky areas. He has a smooth jog and a VERY VERY nice easy to set lope! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Spartan is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave. Spartan is a super cool horse that anyone is sure to love!!!

Hij ziet er niet alleen cool uit, maar hij heeft ook alle andere hokjes aangevinkt... hij is vriendelijk, houdt van aandacht en is heel rustig van aard. Spartan zit sinds begin vorig jaar in een natural horsemanship programma en heeft de training afgerond. Hij kent enkele trucjes zoals buigen en liggen op commando. Spartan is bereden door ruiters van alle leeftijden en is erg rustig en zachtaardig. Hij is bereden op snelwegen en is verkeersveilig. Spartan is geweldig op trails en hij steekt kreken, greppels, boomstammen en ruwe, rotsachtige gebieden over. Hij heeft een soepele jog en een ZEER mooie, makkelijk te stellen lope! Hij is blootgesteld aan allerlei wilde dieren zoals herten of kalkoenen of andere dieren zoals koeien of honden en zal overal gaan waar hij gevraagd wordt. Hij heeft vele kilometers gereden in de bergen van Oost-Kentucky en is elk mogelijk obstakel op het pad tegengekomen. Hij gaat zelfs de steilste hellingen op of af, door diepe kreken, over omgevallen bomen en over alle soorten ruw terrein, terwijl hij nog steeds goed ter been is. Spartan is niet chagrijnig, heeft geen koude rug, kribbelt niet en weeft niet. Spartan is een super cool paard waar iedereen zeker van zal houden!!!
