Chief is a gorgeous 36 in pony that is a blanket app!! His gorgeous dark color with prominent white blanket will catch anyone's attention.
And not only is Chief gorgeous to look at he is also extremely well broke to ride. He will lope the cutest circles with his head down and will stop at the whoa command without even pulling on the reins. He is definitely the one the boys (and girls) race for first when we go to the barn. They ride him bareback with just a halter and lead rope or tack him up with saddle and Bridle. He doesn't care which!!
Cheif is an easy pony for beginners to learn on as he is soft in the face and they dont have to pull hard to stop, turnor back up and will even neck rein.
Chief has had lots of arena training and trail riding outside as well. He will cross creeks and logs with ease and goes through the obstacle course without hesitation.
You can also lay Chief down to get on if you wish.
Chief is very gentle and very tolerant.He handles bull whips,tarps,pulling the wagon from the horn and about anything you ask him to.
He is broke to the cart as well and drives really well wherever you want to take him.
