Sunrise R wurde von Johann Reisenthaler in Niederösterreich gezüchtet und erhielt seine Grundausbildung im österreichischen Pferdezentrum Stadl-Paura. Aufgrund seines ausgeglichenen Charakters und vielseitigen Talents konnte er sich recht früh als Lehrpferd für die Schüler des ABZ Lambach etablieren. Als fixer Bestandteil des Lehrpferdeteams sorgte er für zahllose bestandene Reiterpass-, Reiternadel- und Übungsleiterprüfungen und war Jahr für Jahr in der Parade der Abschlussklassen (Heiße Eisen) zu sehen. Nun ist es an der Zeit ihn in den aktiven Ruhestand zu entlassen! Er kennt Boxen-, sowie Weidehaltung.
